About Role:

The internship program at HARMAN Automotive offers valuable experience aimed at developing interns both personally and professionally. It is open to students currently pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees where an internship is mandatory, or to graduates seeking short-term work experience.

What You Will Do:

• Work across diverse technology areas such as Embedded C, C++, Python, Java, and Linux/Android.
• Participate in static code analysis checks.
• Conduct unit testing using the Google Test Framework.
• Engage in software programming and the development of software systems.
• Tackle challenging tasks across multi-layered software stacks that demand niche technical skills.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Embedded C, C++, Python, Java.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
• Working knowledge of the Linux platform.
• Technical understanding and interest in development with C++, C, and Linux.
• Desirable knowledge of Android basics.
• Willingness to learn software testing using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
• Interest in performing software releases and software quality assurance tasks.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Preferably available to work from the office.
• Good communication and facilitation skills.
• Willingness to continuously improve skills and keep up with automotive industry trends and best practices.
• Ability to apply original thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, systems, or services to better serve customer needs.
